The lake has over 692 miles of shoreline and is located in the
foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The body of water is known for it's
aqua blue color and beautiful views. There are many activities offered including camping, boating, fishing, swimming, and much more.
After making the news for quite some time due to low water levels from an extended drought, Lake Lanier is now at full pool and has never been more breathtaking.
Multiple marinas on the lake offer wet slips, dry storage, and fuel. One of the largest floating marinas in the world is
Holiday Marnia at Buford. Additionaly, there are several places to dine while you
are enjoying your time on the lake and the Lake Lanier Islands are a great
place for the whole family to enjoy. This lake has it all!
